Author Portraits

Portraits built around a book, not a headshot list — the author holding her own words, and the room meeting them for the first time.

A woman in a black top and leopard-print skirt smiles while holding up a paperback book titled Parenting with a Few F Words.

Context

A first-time author needed portraits that read as a person, not a press kit — images that could sit on a book jacket, a social feed, and a bookstore table without contradicting each other.

Jeevan Productions starts every branding shoot the same way it starts a campaign: by understanding who the person is and how they want to be remembered, then building the shot list around that, not the other way around. The session followed the book itself — its voice, its humor, its audience — into the room where readers were meeting it for the first time.
